Lauren J. Bianchini is an associate at Schwartz & Ballen LLP. Lauren assists financial services companies and their service providers, technology companies providing electronic payments services, consumer reporting agencies and domestic and international money transmitters on a range of legal issues, including regulatory advocacy; drafting of compliance policies and procedures; legal analysis of existing or proposed products or services; and ongoing compliance matters.

Lauren advises clients on compliance with federal and state privacy and information security laws and regulations, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act/Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions (FACT) Act, Bank Secrecy Act/USA PATRIOT Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, Truth-in-Lending Act and Equal Credit Opportunity Act compliance matters. She is also assisting clients in implementing the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

Lauren received her J.D. degree in May 2007 with honors from American University, Washington College of Law where she served as a Note & Comment Editor with The American University Law Review. She earned her B.A. degree from Fordham University in 2003.

Lauren is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bars.
